I’m expecting Paul Lee will be a good player in the PBA even though I didn’t watch any games of UE in the UAAP, but I’m pretty sure he will be a strong candidate for the 2012 PBA ROY.
But not after their game last night;
Paul Lee exploded for big 21 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. He outplayed Ginebra star Mark Caguioa and the rest of the BGK in their first meeting.
One thing I noticed in Lee’s game is his ability to go strong to the hoop and create his own shot. Another thing is his passing ability, he able to see his team mates even de Ocampo, Villanueva and Mamaril manning the paint.
As coach Yeng Guiao stated, “Paul Lee is a good player. Maangas ang laro pero hindi nakakainis panoorin!”
I hope Lee will continue to play good in the eliminations and carry the team all the way to semis. His tandem with Gabe Norwood is very effective because both players can slash through the basket, nail from the three point area and can dish some assists.
All in all, a very good game for Paul Lee.
